Who we are - background and expertise

Founded in 1993, this has been an organically grown business based around the combined expertise of bank manager and finance director.

Attfield James started off checking interest and negotiating solutions to debt problems, then built up an expertise in bank charges and over charging.

Attfield James personnel also registered as Expert Witnesses with The Law Society and started helping solicitors not only with banking cases on their books but also with their own banking arrangements.

It was clear that there was a real need for good market information on bank deals and charges. Businesses always wanted to know what level of charges they ought to be paying and how they could negotiate a better deal on credit and debit interest rates.

And so...

As a result, Attfield James launched its Cost Saving Report service which has gone from strength to strength and is now our largest revenue earner.

Our key strength is being able to tell you what you can achieve as a result of our experience of so many other bank customers. We do not "cherry pick" deals but take a balanced but competitive view of what is achievable in your case in the context of your business as it stands in the overall market.

The majority of what we tell you is tried and proven in the market. The balance is pursuing current market trends and pressures.

Once we have reported to you what is achievable and how, we assist you in achieving the savings invisibly by helping you not only cut costs and increase benefits but also improving your banking relationship by giving you the initiative.
